A life well-lived is not just about physical objects; it’s about the experience, the company one keeps, and the memories shared. A Feadship yacht epitomizes this philosophy. A platform for escape and adventure, for privacy and quality time, a Feadship is an expression of freedom like no other.

A Floating Haven

Among the renowned Dutch shipyard’s impressive fleet, the new 120-foot (36.5-meter) Bahamas Cruiser concept emerges as a standout choice for those looking to enjoy life on the water. Specially designed for short trips and coastal cruising, she is right at home exploring the tropical archipelago of the Bahamas.

Embodying the idea of a ‘home on the water,’ the Bahamas Cruiser is so much more than a mode of transport or just a floating asset. Customized comfort, flexibility, and sophisticated living are at its core, offering a relaxing way to escape daily life and explore new horizons on short breaks.

The Perfect Size for Island-Hopping

“For me, this new concept is the perfect example of a yacht designed for the area between Florida and the Caribbean,” says Nikko. “With this Feadship, you can make the most of the incredible cruising grounds that are right on Florida’s doorstep in complete comfort. It’s just the right size be very comfortable on board and not too big that you can’t get close to sandy beaches.”

The design team recognized that the relaxed living style of the Bahamas may reflect how owners and guests enjoy time together, with an open, family-style galley featuring a breakfast bar for intimate meals throughout their vacation – a contrast to the more formal dining setups often found on yachts.

Go-Anywhere Freedom

The Bahamas Cruiser has a draft of just six feet, making it perfect for navigating shallow waters. While it is tailored for the pristine beauty of the Bahamas, its adaptability extends to the Intracoastal Waterways of Florida and can be berthed in front of a waterfront property.

“It’s perfect for a family who has a home in Florida,” explains Nikko. “You can venture down into the Bahamas, go to St. Barths, or just have it to cruise around the incredible Floridian coastline.” With a range of 3,000 nautical miles at 10 knots, this yacht offers the freedom to explore.

The Joy of Ownership

The Bahamas Cruiser adheres unwaveringly to Feadship’s renowned standards of excellence. “Building a Feadship yacht is akin to creating a floating home, one that reflects your tastes, lifestyle, and aspirations. The result is not just a yacht, but a personal haven, a go-anywhere home on the water,” explains Nikko.

The Bahamas features many shallow sandbanks and hidden coves. A shallow-draft design lets you access these secluded spots easily, avoiding the need to stay in deeper waters where larger yachts are forced to anchor far from shore.

Not at all. Feadship’s design maintains the same level of luxury and quality expected from their larger yachts. You’ll enjoy the same refined living spaces and amenities – you just gain enhanced flexibility for exploring tight inlets and coastal areas.

Absolutely. While it’s tailor-made for quick escapes or coastal cruising, it’s still a Feadship – meaning it can handle extended voyages, complete with robust engineering and excellent seakeeping, if you want to venture farther afield.
